I’m a London-based portrait photographer and artist, commissioned by corporate and actor clients. I started developing and printing my own photos as a teenager (back in the film days!). I love working with the variety of fascinating characters who pass through my studio. Everyone has a story to tell if you take the time to listen. Listening to your stories helps me to create original and authentic portraits. Born in London, I live in London with my wife and three children.
For organisations and groups, there are desks and wifi in our spacious studio so you can sip a coffee and get some work done while you wait your turn to be photographed. For portrait shoots, there’s space to change outfits and have hair/make-up done. Some clients bring their own hair and make-up artist or we can arrange this for you.
The studio is equipped with professional camera and lighting equipment plus a wide selection of props and backdrops.
Our mobile studio lighting setup can be taken to your home, office or anywhere really as it runs off powerful batteries.
Before the shoot, I chat with you find out what ideas and feelings you would like people to have when they see your picture. How do you want to be perceived? What audiences are envisaged for the photos and how will they be used? My process for portrait photography is first finding the concepts and feelings to visualise the type of photos we’re going for – and only after getting clarity on this, picking up my camera.
You select your favourite images during the shoot. We only end the shoot (time permitting if there’s another shoot due next) when you can see images on the screen which you are competely delighted with.
We then photoshop your chosen images and present them in your online gallery. You can download web and high-resolution images from your gallery as well as share the images with friends and colleagues.
I’ve had three exhibitions of my photographs. The first “BIG” at York Street Gallery, London W1 in 2023 followed by “Majesty” last year at London Waterloo station. My third solo show “Trip” ran from October until December 2025 at my studio. More info on my fashion & art web site.
