Honeydew Health is a fast-growing human resources software company with offices in Britain and Denmark. The firm’s corporate colour is green so the founders came to Max Marshall Studio with the concept of using green as a highlight for internal comms content.
Honeydew Health’s platform simplifies absence management, improves workforce reliability and helps companies create healthier, more productive workplaces.
After a call to discuss ideas, it was decided that the deliverables would be black and white photos of team members with something they felt passionately about highlighted in green. Two dates were set for shoots of the team at my studio in Hammersmith with info summarised in a written PDF shoot plan such as the location, dates and times and the list of shots required plus any notes regarding retouching such as the exact shade of green required.
The company sent out the following guidance for the team members taking part in the shoot.
Make sure you are presentable:
On the day of the shoot, the weather was sunny so we took the option of taking the shots in the backyard of the studio with attractive plants as a background as well as formal studio shots.
In the studio, each person could see his or her photos pop up on the screen so they could choose the one they liked the best. For the outside shoot, I put them on to a laptop so everyone could see their photos.
The selected photos were retouched and presented in an online gallery three days later. The gallery enables downloads of high-resolution and web-resolution versions of the images.
I always check everyone is happy with their photos before they leave my studio
